Peter, Andrew, James and John had a fascination of the beauty of the magnificence of the temple. Jesus answered them that there would be a time when one stone would not be upon another.  Tradition says that when in AD 70 the Roman soldiers burned the temple the gold ran down between the stones and they took all the stones apart to get the gold.  So Jesus prediction was correct and there is no temple on that site today.
I do believe the rest of Jesus predictions are for the most part after we are caught up to heaven in what we call the Rapture.  (I Thessalonians 4:13-18) However we see smidgens of things happening now.  There are always connecting factors of two eras.  We cannot connect two dispensations with a fine line.
Now what does this mean to me?  I do believe I am getting close to meeting Jesus in the air, but if not at 82 years old I could any day be absent from the body and present with the Lord.  (2 Corinthians 5:8)  Either way I am to be content.
