What a catalogue of the ungodly men we have. I would ask you, “Has the world changed?” Yes it has but not for the better but for the worse. There was even a time in previous history when professing Christians killed others who did not believe the same way. Peter uses the terms brute beasts. This means they are like vicious animals tearing up any that get in their way.
Farther down Balaam is mentioned and we have a term wages of unrighteousness and rebuked by a dumb donkey. His goal was to curse Israel which were God’s people. He found a way which was to mix up the people of God with the women of that land.
All these things can be lessons to us. Be pure and remain pure. Give the Lord your life.
