2 Thessalonians 1:6-12

I am interested in one word here. The word is “repay”. God said vengeance is mine, I will repay. We have this in verse 8. First of all they do not know God.  The word know here means a relationship.  This can only be had by obeying (accepting) the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.  He died for you.
The next is the punishment of everlasting destruction.  The key phrase is from the presence of God.  We who are Christians will be in God’s presence and in the glory of His power.  He will come in that Day to be glorified in His saints, and be admired by all who believed.  I could say a lot about that but I don’t have room.
There is so much in verse 11 that I don’t know where to start and how to finish.  Paul wants to fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power.  Paul wanted the name of Christ to be glorified in these believers.  He also wants to do this in us too.
