Acts 15:30-41
Paul and Barnabas now delivered the letter written by the Christians at Jerusalem to the Gentiles as to how gentile Christians were to conduct themselves. Then Judas went back to Jerusalem but Silas stayed there with Paul and Barnabas. Now Paul had a very good plan to go back over the way they had preached to see how they were doing. If a person in a ministry can do that it is a good plan. We can’t just preach to people and not follow them up if we are able to do so. However there was a problem. Barnabas wanted to take John Mark who had left them going back home. Paul seemed to have a question about his lack of maturity. However there was disagreement and Barnabas took John Mark and Paul took Silas with him. I would like to write a book on how to settle disagreements but I am not sure I have it all together so I will pass on that. However John Mark seemed to benefit by this.
