Choose The Way Of Righteousness! – Proverbs 11:1-11
Solomon demonstrates that we have a choice regarding our path in life. He contrasts the two options of the way of righteousness and the way of evil. Our conclusion should be to choose the way of righteousness.
1. Righteousness delights – The way of evil is an abomination to God but He delights in righteousness.
2. Righteousness delivers – Deliverance comes from death, bondage, trouble, and false accusations.
3. Righteousness directs – Righteousness gives guidance in decisions and direction for goals
I have a choice to make. I choose the way of righteousness. This is the way of God. This way seeks to follow His Word and imitate His character. Sow seeds to the Spirit and not to the flesh. Righteousness delights the Lord, delivers the learner and directs the life.
Walk with the Lord and choose the way of righteousness!!!
