Claim God’s Promises! – Exodus 6:1-13
God reminded Moses of His wonderful promises to Israel. He had established a covenant and He would fulfill it. This caused God to make several promises to Moses as well as remind him of past promises.
1. I will bring Israel out of bondage to Egypt.
2. I will redeem you.
3. I will take Israel for my people.
4. I will be your God.
5. I will bring you into the land.
Through these promises God would make Himself known as JEHOVAH – “the self existing Holy One who hates sin but loves sinners and desires personal relationship with them”. Jehovah is my redeemer! I have a personal relationship with Him through faith. Now I live by faith in His promises!
1. Promise of His presence – “lo I am with you always even unto the end of the world”
2. Promise of answered prayer – “Call unto me and I will answer thee”
3. Promise of provision – “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you”
4. Promise of good – “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God”
5. Promise of help in temptation – “God is faithful who will not allow you to be tempted above that ye are able”
Many other great and precious promises are given to me!
Walk with the Lord and claim God’s promises!!!
