Getting An “A” Spiritually! – 2 Thessalonians 1:1-5
Paul gives a report card so to speak of the church. He speaks of several areas in their spiritual lives.
1. Position – Their position remains secure as children of God – “in”
2. Progress – They are growing in faith like a rapidly growing plant and in love like a wildly overflowing river.
3. Patience – They are showing remarkable endurance under great persecution.
Paul gave the Thessalonians an “A” on their spiritual report card! What grade would I get? How are you doing in the classes of Faith, Love, and Patience? All of us should be growing into fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ and making progress in becoming like Christ in these areas.
Walk with the Lord and strive for a spiritual “A”!!!
