God’s Will For Marriage! – Ephesians 5:22-33
There is much in the news these days about marriage. Man has many wicked and wayward ways and ideas about marriage. God, who instituted marriage, has declared His will for marriage in the Bible.
1. Pattern for marriage – Marriage is intended to be one man and one woman for life.
2. Purpose for marriage – Marriage is to demonstrate the relationship between Christ and the Church.
3. Power for marriage – Marriage is designed to function through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Follow God’s plan for marriage. Pray, vote and take a stand for biblical marriage. Fulfill God’s purpose in marriage. Find at least one way to love my wife as Christ loved the Church. Function in God’s power for marriage. Be filled (controlled) with the Holy Spirit.
Walk with the Lord and obey God’s will for marriage!!!
