Have A Heart Check Up! – Mark 7:14-23
In this paragraph Jesus continues to show that self righteousness produced by external works will never be accepted by God.
1. Externals can never purify the heart.
2. The heart is “deceitful” and “desperately wicked”.
3. Purity must begin in the heart and work its way out.
What is the condition of my heart? Do I have ears to hear the message of Christ? Have I heard the message of Jesus concerning the condition of my heart? Have I considered and accepted His truth regarding my problem? Am I applying God’s truth through obedience?
Walk with the Lord and have a heart check up!!!
