Help Others In The Faith! – 1 Thessalonians 2:9-13
Chapter 2 of this book gives several descriptions of how Paul helped people in the faith.
1. Defending Brother – 2:1-6 – “contention” – went to war against satan for them
2. Cherishing Mother – 2:7-9 – “gentle” – tender, cherishing; “labour” – give to/not take from
3. Shepherding Father – 2:10-13 – “Father” – focused attention, specific instruction
In the same way I should seek to minister to those around me. My family, my friends, my associates, my neighbors, etc. all need this kind of help to come to salvation and to grow in faith.
Walk with the Lord and help others in the faith!!!.
