I Timothy 1:12-20

Paul thanked Christ Jesus for His enablement because He counted him faithful putting him into a position of ministry (an apostle). He then speaks of his past life.  Christ Jesus saw things that for us is humanly impossible for us to foresee.
Then in verse 15 Paul speaks of the gospel that Christ Jesus came to save sinners which he says he is chief.  Is religious sin worse than mine of drunkenness etc.  No mercy is prominent despite the depth of sin.
Verse 17 is Paul’s proper disruption of God, especially Christ. He is King eternal, immortal, invisible and all wise.  He alone is to be worshipped.
Timothy is to wage a good warfare.  He is to have faith and especially a good conscience.  We who have a part in ministry can’t indulge in sins that hurt us in our conscience.  Remember Adam hid himself when he and Eve knew they had sinned.is enablement because He counted him faithful putting him into a position of ministry (an apostle). He then speaks of his past life.  Christ Jesus saw things that for us is humanly impossible for us to foresee.
