Chapter 6 is Job answering Eliphaz and our verses are a continuance of that answer.  Job speaks of things like a hired man earnestly desiring shade to rest.  For Job at this time there is not that kind of rest.  He cannot sleep earnestly desiring daylight to come.  His flesh is caked with worms; skin cracked breaking out fresh all the time.
Job speaks of his day swifter than a weaver’s shuttle.  His life is like a breath.  James speaks of life as a vapor appearing for a little while and then gone.  He then ends our verses with loathing life and days as a breath.
We all know the end of the story with Job having double goods and livestock than he had before. Also he had 7 sons and 3 daughters. Some have said that he didn’t lose the first ones, as they are in Heaven, but my thought is that Jobs wife had 10 pregnancies, delivered 10 babies and raised them up to be fine men and ladies.  Think of that for someone who told Job to curse God and die.  At that time she lost 10 children and almost lost him too.
