John 20:19-31 – Jesus is Lord and God

The purpose of the Gospel is stated plainly at the end of this chapter.  This Gospel was written so that you would share the same understanding as Thomas.  Sure, Thomas was first a doubter.  He made some pretty outlandish demands.  But, when Thomas saw the resurrected Christ, he never had to physically put his hand into the pierced side of His Savior.  He did what we all should do.  He fell on his knees and confessed with his mouth that Jesus is Lord.

Praise God that He has revealed Jesus to us through His Word.

Is Jesus your Lord and your God?
