Proverbs 12:20-28

These verses tell us of two ways just like most of the Proverbs.  It begins with a heart of the imagination of evil.  When it is thought necessary for this person to deceive someone.  Further down the heart is full of mischief.  This goes on and on but I want to now talk about the other side of the picture.  God delights in those who walk in truth.  I find it interesting that a prudent man conceals knowledge.  I heard someone say, “If you would keep our mouth shut someone will think you are smart.  Otherwise they will know how dumb you are.”  I have retained this since I was a boy in farm country. I am sad to say the first twenty one years I was that person until I found Christ.
I want to touch one more thing in the last verse.  The way of righteousness is life.  This contrasts with the phrase, “There is a way that seems right to a man but the end thereof are the ways of death.”  I always want to be on the right path.
