The next thing to not review is all the verses in a prophetic sense. Verse 22 speaks of Christ as the Stone rejected by the builders becoming the Chief Cornerstone. We find this at least 3 times in the New Testament.
Then we find a significant song which we sing as a popular church song possibly many not knowing its significance. This was the day when Jesus rode into Jerusalem and of course we have the words save now in verse 25 which in the New Testament (Mark 11:9) the word Hosanna. This was asking relief from Roman oppression. This all is in connection to Jesus presenting Himself as it says in Daniel 9:25. Then it says, "Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD." An interesting phrase is the Lord Jesus prophetically is a sacrifice bound to the horns of the altar. Prophetically this is Jesus on the cross. When all is said and done this is a high quality prophecy.
