Paul has an interlude in his writing to reveal more of God’s secret or “mystery” of the Church.  The Church is one body where Jews and Gentiles are brought together through faith in Christ.  These verses share more information and show Paul’s involvement in the secret.

1.  Participator – Paul was Saul the Jew.  No longer a Jew, through faith in Christ he was Paul a member of the body of Christ.
2.  Prisoner – So faithful to this truth from God Paul was willing to be in jail rather than compromise it’s teaching.
3.  Minister – Paul was a chosen servant to declare this truth.  God’s new instrument in the world in His church.

Romans 10:13 states that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.  Jew and Gentile are saved the same way and are brought into the same body the church.  Are you part of the secret?  Are you sharing the secret?
