Shout To The Lord! – Mark 11:1-11
This passage describes the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem as Jesus presents Himself as the Prince of peace. The people responded to Jesus by shouting, “Hosanna, blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord and blessed be the kingdom of our father David”.
1. Prayerful shout – “Hosanna” – Oh save us!
2. Prophetic shout – “He that cometh” – Messiah who was promised
3. Personal shout – “in the name of the Lord” – Under God’s authority
4. Potential shout – “kingdom of our father David” – Future victory
I too can shout to the Lord in each of these ways acknowledging the kingship of Jesus in my life!
Walk with the Lord and shout to the Lord our king!!!
