Watch Out For The Counterfeit! – Acts 8:14-25
True faith is shown in the life of true believers.
1. Pretension – Simon pretended to serve God really serving self.
2. Profession – Simon professed to be saved but it was only intellectual assent without true repentance.
3. Precaution – Simon failed to deal with bitterness and iniquity.
4. Presumption – Simon presumed God’s power could be bought and used for self gain.
Make sure my life is genuine and be on guard for spiritual counterfeiters!
